This two-day training course is organised by the Local Organising Committee of ITA WTC2027 and endorsed by the ITACET Foundation and ITA-CET Committee.

This year we will focus on the congress theme “Underground Creativity to Meet Societal Needs.” Over two days, participants will explore key aspects of tunnelling in urban environments, guided by leading national and international experts.

The course will centre on a comprehensive case study, allowing participants to examine multiple stages of a tunnelling project—from design and construction to operation and maintenance.

Through interactive workshops, attendees will develop practical solutions under expert supervision and will have the opportunity to present and exchange their ideas with professionals active in those roles.

The program will also include a short technical site visit in Antwerp, offering valuable real-world context.
