SUBMITTING AUTHOR’S DECLARATION

By submitting a abstract/paper (hereafter: the “scientific work”) to the ITA World Tunnel Congress 2027, the authors hereby declare that: 

  1. I am / We are aware that the submitted and finally accepted version of the paper will be published as per the ITA WTC2027 Organising Committee’s arrangements. The authors retain copyright of their work but grant the organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and disseminate the scientific work (e.g. congress website, programme, proceedings, open-access publication platform etc.). Submission of the scientific work constitutes the consent of all authors to this arrangement. 
  2. I / We grant the conference organiser the right to publish the scientific work in the conference proceedings or any other related publications or disseminate the scientific work through digital platforms associated with the conference. 
  3. I / We understand that the presenting author must be a registered participant for ITA WTC2027, attend the conference and present the work as scheduled. 
  4. I / We declare that the submitted scientific work is original, has not been published or presented before and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. 
  5. I / We declare that all sources used are fully acknowledged and all quotations properly identified, and that the scientific work is free from any plagiarism or copyright infringements. 
  6. I / We confirm that the scientific work adheres to the formatting and submission guidelines provided by the organising committee and understand that the presenting author is the main contact for the review process. The presenting author is responsible for communicating with the other authors about progress, submissions of revisions and final approval of proofs. 
  7. I / We understand that the Organising Committee reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation a scientific work which does not comply with the policy described herein. 
  8. I / We understand that I / We should suggest a specific Topic for the allocation of the submitted scientific work as per ITA WTC2027 topics of the congress theme. However, I / We understand that the proposed topic allocation will be reviewed by the ITA WTC2027 Scientific Committee which reserves the right to change the Topic under which the scientific work was originally submitted. 
  9. I / We confirm that there are no known conflicts of interest associated with the submitted scientific work, or where such conflicts exist, they have been clearly disclosed in the submission. 
  10. I / We confirm that I / We have given due consideration to the protection of intellectual property associated with this work and that there are no impediments to publication, including the timing of publication, with respect to intellectual property. In so doing I / We confirm that I / We have followed the regulations of our institutions concerning intellectual property. 
  11. I/We warrant that no part of the submitted scientific work, nor its subsequent publication, whether in congress proceedings or on open-access web platforms, infringes upon any third-party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and intellectual property rights.
  12. I / We understand the code of ethics that apply to international congresses such as ITA WTC2027, and consent to the Congress Privacy/GDPR Policy. 

 

Note: Any request to add or remove an author, or to rearrange the author names, must be communicated with the Scientific Committee via wtc2027@aimgroup.eu by the corresponding author of the accepted scientific work. Written confirmation (signed letter) from all authors indicating their agreement to the addition, removal or rearrangement must be sent to the Scientific Committee. In the case of addition or removal of authors, this includes confirmation from the author being added or removed.
