ITA WTC2027 Best Paper Award

The ITA World Tunnel Congress 2027 will feature Best Paper Awards to recognise outstanding contributions to tunnelling and underground space.

For each topic, there will be at least one Best Paper Award.

The award will be based on both the quality of the full paper and the presentation during the congress. Evaluation will consider technical originality, clarity of exposition, practical relevance and how effectively the work is communicated to the audience.

To be considered for the Best Paper Awards, authors must give their consent during the full paper submission. This step is optional and will not affect the grading of the paper or the allocation of an oral or poster presentation. Authors who do not provide consent will not be eligible for the award but may still present their work at the congress as usual.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time.
